Welcome to Savage world !! I was 45 when I re-entered cycledom after 25 years of no ride. I find the Savage a delight to ride and look at, reminds me of the old BSA days, but with Japanese quality. And, I love that belt drive. Overall, it's a great bike, for starters or long term riding. I sure do enjoy my '96 ! Check this site a lot for great conversation and info......
